Welcome the the TIM LANCASTER MUSIC page. There is plenty of music to discover here.

Tim Lancaster is a trained and educated jazz drummer, composer, and band leader. He performs regularly with his group and as a session player in the New York City area. Having played with some of today's finest musicians, he's enjoying his latest project: leading the dynamic jazz outfit The Tim Lancaster Group.

Tim's musical tastes are also very varied, spanning many modern musical genera. As a multi-instrumentalist, he sings , plays guitar and piano to his original indie rock tunes

Tim has also been exploring electronica music in his digital home studio. "I really love working with Logic 9 and my Apple computer. As a composer's tool and as an idea generator, you just can't beat it. I recently started using Spectronic's Omnisphere and it's like discovering a new universe, as the sounds and textures are simply amazing. I highly recommend trying it."

Music available now on iTunes, AMAZON, and CD BABY. Feel free to contact Tim Lancaster at taljr07470@yahoo.com or tim@timlancastermusic.com for bookings or inquires,

MIXING NEW RECORDING AT EPSILON 2 STUDIOS

"I have such a  tremendous amount of respect for recording engineers and music producers. Especially after my involvement with this new recording. TIM LANCASTER GROUP, LIVE AT WUZZ UP CAFE´ is getting mixed and mastered as we speak. This marks the first time I've been involved in the mixing process and boy, what a process it is! I've never listened to the details in a recording in such an obsessive and meticulous way. The slightest turn of a knob or touch of a slider creates new and near infinate musical consequences, which in turn necessitates more decisions, and so on...but it is fun as heck.

See you soon. Tim
